Mustard oil Khichuri



Ingredients:

Basmatib rice 1 cup
Masoor dal ½ cup
Moog dal ½ cup
Chopped onion ½ cup
Green chilly 4/5 cup
Turmeric powder 1 TSP
Ginger paste 1 TSP
Garlic paste 1 TSP
Bay leaf 4 pieces
Cardamom 5/6 pieces
Cinnamon 4 pieces
Cloves 3pieces
Mustard Oil-as required
Salt as required

Procedure:

Wash the dal and rice. Remove water from it and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onion. Cardamom, cinnamon and bay leaves and fry them around 2 min. Now add dal and rice then all ingredients. Fry them in medium flame for 4-5 min. Now add 6 cup hot water. Cover it by a lid. Cook it in medium flame. Once most are srewed flip low the heat.
