Ingredients:
Channa Bay leaf
- 2 pieces,
Cloves - 2 pieces
Cinnamon - 2 pieces
Cardamom - 2 pieces
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp + 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder -1/2 tsp+ 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder -1/2 tsp + 1/2 tsp
Hot spicy powder - 1 tsp
Salt- 1/2 tsp + 1/2 tsp
Chopped onion - 1 cup
Chopped green chili - 3 Tsp
Ginger paste - 1 Tsp
Garlic paste - 1 Tsp
Chopped coriander - 2 Tsp
Egg - 2 + 1 (separated)
Shan Lahore fish masala – 2 tsp
Oil - 2 Tsp
Oil -
For deep fry
Procedure:
Wash the soaked dhal. Then take them in a pan, add 3 cups of water and boil it. Add bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon,
cardamom half amount of turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, hot
spicy powder and salt.
Boil it until the dal becomes soft and no water remains
in it. Heat 2 Tsp oil in a pan. Add the chopped onion in the oil and fry
it until brown color is formed.
Then add the ginger paste, garlic
paste and chopped green chili, and fry them for a few seconds. Now add the mashed fish in the pan and add all the remaining masala.
Now take the mashed dal and
fried mashed fish in a large bowl. Add the whole 2 egg and 1 egg, Shan lahars
fish masala, chopped coriander and mix them well. Make small round flattened ball from
the mixture. Pour the
oil in a deep pan and heat it in a medium flame. Then fry ball in oil
until nice brown color is formed. Now take the kabab in towel or tissue to
absorb extra oil. Now serve the Fish Shami Kabab.
