Ingredients:
Small potato
500 gm
Onion ½ cups
Black mustard
½ TSP
Chopped
coriander leaves 2 TSP
Green chilly 4/5 cup
Turmeric
powder 1 TSP
Garlic paste 1
TSP
Cardamom 2
pieces
Cinnamon 2
pieces
Oil-as
required
Salt as
required
Tomato 1
medium size
Bay leaves 2
pieces
Cumin powder ½
TSP
Red chilly
powder 1 TSP
Procedure:
Boil potato
with pinch of salt, peel them and cut them in 2/3 pieces. Keep aside. Heat oil
in a pan. Add whole cumin and black mustard and fry it for a few second. Then
add all of the paste and fry them a little bit.
Then add tomato and onion and
fry them until soft. Now add all the
powder and fry them until oil will come up. Then add potato and stir it. After
that add water and stir it. Cover them and wait for a few min. Remove the lid.
If there is water wait a few mtn again. When gravy is formed spead coriander
leaves. Turn off the heat.
Now Aloor Dom is ready. Serve it with ruti. Parata
or plain rice.
