Dal Vuna



 

Ingredients:

Masoor dal ½ cups
Chopped onion ¼ cups
Green chilly 7-8
Turmeric powder 1/2 TSP
Coriander leaf 4 pieces
Oil-as required
Salt as required

Procedure:

Keep dal in water for 15-20 min. Then wash it. Heat oil in a pan. Fry chopped onion and green chilly for a few seconds. Add dal, turmeric and salt
for 3-4 min. Now add ¾ cup water and cover it by a lid. Cook it in middle flame for 4-5 min. If dal is not boiled keep a few times also. Spread coriander leaves on it. Now turn off the heat.  Serve DAL VUNA with caccari, roti or porotha.
